RIVER_BEND_WEST_COMMUNITY_HOMEOWNERS_ASSOCIATION_BOARD_MEETING___

BOARD_MEMBER_PRESENT:_Linda_Faber,_Erin_Walker,_Dave_Rivard,_Debbie_Turner,_Jim_
Gall,_Chris_Benoit___6_homeowners_present_
The_meeting_was_called_to_order_at_6:35pm_by_Linda.__Public_comment_started_with_Karen_
Hazelrigg_who_was_asking_for_our_support_and_help_with_the_huge_rocks_that_were_put_in_her_ditch_
this_week_by_the_road_commissioner.__She_is_concerned_about_property_value,_maintenance_of_
weeds_and_a_danger_if_someone_falls.__Linda_gave_her_the_name_of_the_county_road_commissioner_
to_call.
She_is_upset_because_she_did_not_know_about_it_until_the_company_was_there_to_put_the_
rocks_in._They_also_go_around_the_corner_on_to_River_Bend_Dr.__The_road_commissioner_put_them_
there_because_of_drainage_problems_on_the_property._Sharpers_were_present_and_also_stated_that_
they_think_the_rocks_are_ugly_and_make_the_subdivision_look_bad.__They_want_the_association_to_
stand_behind_the_homeowner.__They_also_asked_the_corner_by_Devines_be_fixed_as_well_as_the_
holes_in
the_neighborhood_that_were_drilled_in_the_roads_by_the_water_company.__Linda_will_call_
the_road
commissioner_to_get_this_fixed_as_the_holes_are_a_hazard.__Dave_Butz_was_present_and_
wondered_if_there_was_any_talk_about_the_new_part_of_River_Bend_joining_our_association.__We_
have_not
been_approached.__Debbie_read_the_secretaries_report.__There_was_one_correction_by_
Linda.
Chris_made_a_motion_to_accept,_Dave_seconded_and_all_others_agreed.__The_treasurers_
report
was_read_by_Dave._Chris_made_a_motion_to_accept,_Debbie_seconded_and_all_others_agreed.__
The_bill
was_received_for_the_painting_of_the_signs_for_$1600.__We_already_had_a_motion_to_pay_
and_were
just_waiting_on_the_final_bill.__Datweiler_Ins_submitted_a_bill_for_$1063.__Erin_made_a_
motion
to_pay_but_after_some_discussion_we_will_have_Dave_call_first_to_verify_what_this_bill_is_for_
and_then
do_a_call_around_vote_and_a_motion_to_pay.__Erin_then_made_a_motion_to_remove_the_
previous_motion_and_this_was_seconded_by_Jim_and_all_others_agreed.__Erin_then_made_a_motion_
for_a_call
around_vote,_this_was_seconded_by_Chris_and_all_others_agreed.__Dave_Butz_also_
submitted_a_bill_for_mowing.__He_also_gave_us_the_past_due_bills_from_last_year_for_the_
homeowners_he_mowed_for_and_who_were_supposed_to_pay.__Linda_will_check_with_Scenic_
Landscaping_to_see_if_they_are_being_paid_for_this_years_mowing.__A_bill_was_also_received_from_
the_attorney_dating_back_to_2009_for_$1428.__No_previous_bill_was_submitted.__We_will_talk_about_
this_in_closed_session._
OLD_BUSINESS:_The_trailer_is_still_on_Stone_Ridge_Dr.__Linda_will_call_the_homeowner_before_it_
is_turned_over_to_an_attorney._Debbie_will_call_Steve_about_the_compliance_committee_meeting_for_
review
of_the_covenants.__The_weenie_roast_will_be_Oct_2_at_the_park.__The_board_members_will_
donate
the_hot_dogs,_buns,_plates_and_Ô_
.__Each_homeowner_will_be_asked_to_bring_a_dish_to_
pass.__The
flier_will_go_out_after_the_next_meeting.__Linda_will_call_Christie_about_adding_the_
minutes_to_the_website_and_putting_the_date_for_the_roast_on_there_also.__Chris_will_call_Scott_Styck_
about_getting_more_mulch_at_the_park_since_Debbie_pulled_the_weeds_and_now_there_are_big_holes._
Linda_will_talk_to_Denaults_to_see_if_it_is_OK_for_us_to_put_matching_lights_by_the_sign_in_their_yard_
since_they_do_the_upkeep_on_it.___
NEW_BUSINESS:_Donnie_Turner_will_put_the_NO_CONSTRUCTION_TRAFFIC_sign_back_up_by_
the_113_entrance.__Dave_Butz_volunteered_to_help_if_needed.__Debbie_will_call_the_other_garbage_
collectors_in_the_area_to_see_if_they_have_better_pricing.__A_motion_was_made_by_Erin_to_send_
letters_to_4_homeowners_for_failure_to_keep_their_grass_mowed_or_piles_of_garbage_etc._on_their_
lots.__Dave_seconded_and_all_others_were_in_agreement.__Debbie_made_a_motion_to_go_into_closed_
session_to_discuss_the_attorney_bill.__Erin_seconded_and_all_others_agreed.__The_bill_was_correct_so_
