for_their_service.__Public_comment_was_next_on_the_agenda._6_people_signed_up_to_talk._

their_yards,_wants_the_board_to_resign_and_says_we_pick_favorites_on_enforcing_the_covenants._

complained_about_a_plastic_shed_(which_was_there_before_a_board_was_established_and_we_were_

Lane_Richey„stated_he_was_not_compliant_with_a_trailer_in_his_driveway_but_can_not_afford_storage.__
Steve_Devine_suggested_he_talk_to_Mike_Scanlon_about_storing_it_there_for_a_short_term._
Erin_Walker„states_she_gets_upset_at_every_meeting_she_comes_to,_feels_a_pool_is_something_that_
costs_thousands_of_dollars_and_is_installed_and_not_the_little_inflatable_that_she_has_had_for_her_
baby,_states_we_can_not_pick_and_chose_who_we_enforce_the_covenants_on_and_states_she_wants_to_
see_the_financial_statements_(which_are_available_at_every_meeting)._
Steve_Devine„was_happy_with_the_job_the_board_is_doing,_states_it_is_a_thankless_and_difficult_job._
Chris_Walker„also_stated_we_can_not_pick_and_chose,_said_we_should_enforce_all_the_covenants_and_
agrees
with_a_raise_in_dues._
Treasurers_Report_was_read_by_Christy_Strole.__She_also_presented_expenses_Ô_
2004_on_and_a_
preliminary_budget_for_next_year._Tom_Martin_made_a_motion_to_accept_the_report_and_Debbie_
seconded_it,_all_others_were_in_agreement.__Linda_talked_about_the_need_to_raise_dues_and_after_a_
discussion_with_all_members_present_,_it_was_agreed_on_a_$75_annual_fee.__Steve_Goytia_made_a_
motion
to_raise_the_fee_to_$75,_and_after_30_days_a_$25_late_fee_will_be_applied,_then_$1_a_day_up_to_
$250_if_they_are_still_not_paid.__Mr_Duffield_seconded_the_motion_and_all_others_were_in_
agreement._
Old_Business:_Signs_are_being_painted_at_$800_per_sign.__2_at_river_were_authorized_and_half_
payment_was_made._We_would_like_to_landscape_around_the_signs.__Steve_Devine_said_we_should_
talk_to_the_Dept_of_Ag_to_try_to_get_some_help_with_that_and_at_the_river_lot.__He_said_to_contact_the_
soil_and
water_division.__Ongoing_covenant_violations_were_discussed.__The_trailers_were_moved_
and_the_new_judge_has_been_appointed_to_the_court_so_the_suit_about_the_landscaping_violation_will_
go_forward.__Erin_Walker_suggested_a_garbage_can_at_the_park.__Steve_Schultz_suggested_lights_at_
the_other_2_signs„_possibly_use_solar_lights.__We_will_check_with_Scott_Styck_about_this.__We_are_
accepting_mowing_bids.__It_was_stressed_again_not_to_dump_at_the_river_lot.__Long_range_goals_for_
the_association_would_be_possibly_trees_at_the_river_site,_wild_flowers_and_a_split_rail_fence.__We_
also_need_gravel_there.__We_will_have_a_designer_come_and_give_a_bid_for_this._It_could_be_done_in_
phases._
New_Business:_Most_agreed_they_liked_the_neighborhood_garage_sales_so_we_will_do_that_again.__
We_will_also_have_the_Spring_clean_up_again._
Election_of_Officers:_Chris_Benoit_and_Jim_Gall_volunteered_to_be_on_the_board.__Debbie_talked_
about_why_we_need_new_people_on_the_board„_represent_your_neighbors,_enforce_covenants,_do_not_
changes_rules,_once_a_month_meetings,_free_dues_and_everyone_should_do_their_part.__Steve_Devine_
nominated_Jim_Gall_and_Tom_Martin_seconded.__Steve_also_nominated_Chris_Benoit_and_it_was_
seconded_by_Bob_West.__Rich_Faber_nominated_Steve_Goytia_and_Shan_Cinnamon_seconded.__
Chris_Walker_nominated_Erin_Walker_and_Tim_Duffield_seconded.__Christy_made_a_motion_to_
elect_the_new_board_by_acclimation._John_Jones_and_Steve_Goytia_seconded.__All_others_were_in_
agreement._
Before
leaving,__Mr_Anderson_asked_again_what_we_were_going_to_do_about_the_outhouses.__He_
was_told
that_the_county_has_been_out_to_investigate_and_there_is_nothing_they_can_do.__There_is_
nothing_in_our_covenants_about_them_either_as_they_are_not_a_permanent_structure.__We_told_him_or_
anyone
else_to_call_the_county_if_there_is_a_problem._He_also_stated_that_we_are_paying_the_board_
members.__We_stated_that_the_waiver_of_fees_is_an_incentive_to_get_new_board_members_and_does_
not_constitute_pay.__He_said_he_would_talk_to_his_attorney.__

mentioned_another_residents_suggestion_to_have_an_Easter_egg_hunt_for_the_kids_and_all_
thought_this_would_be_a_good_idea.__

accountant_suggesting_we_only_raise_the_fees_to_$75_not_$100_as_he_did_not_make_that_suggestion_
someone_else_did._Linda_made_a_motion_to_accept_the_minutes_and_Erin_seconded.__Election_of_
board_positions_was_next.__Linda_motioned_for_Debbie_to_continue_as_secretary_and_Erin_
seconded.__Steve_motioned_for_Linda_to_stay_as_president_and_Debbie_seconded.__Debbie_motioned_

be_vice_president_and_Linda_seconded.__Linda_also_made_a_motion_that_the_vice_president_will_take_
the_position_of_president_at_the_next_election.__Steve_seconded_and_all_were_in_agreement_for_all_
positions.__Linda_will_ask_Christy_to_continue_to_do_the_website_and_add_the_dues_increase_to_the_
Tom_Martin_asked_that_the_board_look_into_the_area_behind_his_house_on_the_retention_pond_that_
cannot
be_mowed_because_of_grade_and_now_is_full_of_cat_tails_and_holds_water_and_thus_
mosquitos_after_it_rains.__He_volunteered_to_run_the_equipment_to_fix_the_grade_if_we_could_have_
dirt_brought_in_this_spring_possibly._
