The_meeting_was_called_to_order_at_6:35_pm_by_Linda.__Linda_passed_out_a_call_log_to_the_board_in_
case_we_get_calls_at_home._Public_comment_was_given_by_Don_Anderson.__He_was_questioning_
again_if
we_followed_the_bylaws_and_covenants.__He_wanted_to_know_where_it_stated_that_some_
members_did_not_have_to_pay_dues_since_we_waived_the_association_fee_this_year_as_an_incentive_to_
get_new_board_members.__He_stated_again_that_we_could_not_do_this.__We_told_him_that_according_
to_the_bylaws_we_can_vote_on_this_and_then_waive_those_fees_as_we_feel_necessary.__We_were_able_
to_get_4_new
board_members_and_Erin_pointed_out_that_this_was_only_$300._This_vote_was_done_at_
a_meeting_where_there_were_other_homeowners_present_and_it_actually_was_not_a_board_member_
idea_but
a
homeowner.__He_then_left_the_meeting.__The_treasurers_report_was_read_by_Dave.__There_
are_only
8
homeowners_who_have_not_paid_their_2010_dues._Chris_made_a_motion_to_allow_Dave_
to_send_out_the_second_notice_with_late_fees_to_those_homeowners_and_Debbie_seconded.__All_
others
agreed.__We_decided_to_wait_to_turn_them_over_to_the_collection_agency_until_we_have_
reached_the_max_of_$250.__We_discussed_the_attached_letters_that_some_people_wrote_back_on_their_
dues_notice.__Those_asking_for_a_response_will_be_given.__Linda_will_talk_to_the_person_upset_about_
the_due_increase_and_late_fees_as_she_will_see_her_this_weekend.__The_sign_at_River_Bend_Dr_will_
now_be_maintained_by_the_association_as_the_homeowner_who_lives_there_feels_he_should_be_paid_
for_doing_this._Chris_will_talk_to_him_about_this_as_it_is_his_neighbor_and_tell_him_also_that_we_will_
be_working_there_on_clean_up_day._Randy_Welch_will_talk_to_the_lawn_care_guy_about_maintaining_
them_also.__Linda_will_check_with_the_park_district_about_spraying_the_weeds_at_the_park_per_a_
request_by_a_neighbor_to_the_park._Randy_will_also_check_with_the_lawn_people_if_this_is_something_
they_do.
The_next_a_memo_goes_out_to_the_homeowners_we_will_ask_that_people_please_keep_their_
dogs_on_leashes_and_clean_up_after_them.__Again_this_is_a_county_ordinance_and_not_an_association_
policy,_it_is_just_common_courtesy.__We_will_check_on_the_pool_by_the_shed_with_stagnant_water_at_
the_back
of_the_subdivision.__Debbie_made_a_motion_to_accept_the_report_and_it_was_seconded_by_

others_agreed.__The_secretaries_report_was_read_by_Debbie.__Erin_made_a_motion_to_

and_Chris_seconded_it._All_others_agreed.____
Old_Business:_About_20_kids_were_at_the_egg_hunt._There_were_500_eggs_hidden_and_4_baskets_
given_away.__We_plan_to_do_it_again_next_year.__Clean_up_day_is_April_24_at_8:30_am.__Debbie_will_
put_the_signs_out._Meet_at_the_park.__Debbie_will_get_a_hold_of_Ô_

Steve_made_a_motion_to_allow_Debbie_to_spend_$350_according_to_the_drawing_and_bid_for_
landscaping_and_Erin_seconded_this._All_others_agreed._The_garage_sales_will_be_May_20„_22_with_
Thur_night_for_homeowners_to_walk_to_their_neighbors.__Linda_will_call_the_Journal_about_the_ad.__

made_a_motion_for_this_and_Chris_seconded.__All_others_agreed._Debbie_will_put_signs_up_
in_early
May_for_this_also_to_remind_people_to_get_ready_for_the_sales.__Debbie_will_also_put_a_flier_
up_at_the_library_if_allowed.__The_River_Bend_signs_are_in_the_process_of_being_painted.__Since_the_
change
of_the_board_was_happening_at_the_time_when_we_were_going_to_pay,_no_money_was_paid_to_
Friendly_signs_yet_but_Dave_will_now_pay_them_half._No_motion_was_needed_as_this_was_done_at_
the_last
meeting._They_look_great_and_many_people_have_commented.__Linda_had_the_paperwork_
from_the
attorney_to_go_forward_Ô_
with_the
lawsuit_on_the_landscaping_since_the_new_judge_is_now_in_
place.
She_also_has_the_paperwork_ready_on_the_other_case_if_it_is_needed_later.__Debbie_called_Mr_

that_we_must_have_farm_income_for_them_to_help_or_if_there_was_a_big_erosion_problem_we_could_
call_Natural_Resources_for_help_with_very_small_trees_to_plant.__We_would_then_have_to_make_it_a_
wildlife_preserve_to_get_assistance.._She_also_called_Scott_Ô_
about_solar_lights_and_he_gave_
some_pricing.__This_will_wait_till_the_other_landscaping_projects_are_done_and_these_will_be_done_in_
stages

Homeowner_Randy_Welch_was_present_and_uses_Brad_and_states_he_does_a_good_job.__Steve_made_
a_motion
to_accept_the_lowest_bid_as_long_as_they_have_proof_of_insurance.__This_was_seconded_by_
Debbie._All_others_agreed._Randy_will_talk_to_Brad_also_about_trimming_around_the_signs_so_no_
homeowners_have_to_do_it.__The_liability_insurance_is_due_in_May_from_Ô_

the_outhouses_and_it_was_decided_that_we_would_amend_the_covenants_for_the_next_annual_meeting_
since_written_notice_has_to_be_given_prior_to_this_for_a_vote_to_be_Ô_
