RIVER BEND WEST COMMUNITY HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MEETING

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 2, 2013 6:30 PM  LIMESTONE LIBRARY

Called to order at 6:30pm    Board members present:  Leroy Sarowatz  Debbie Turner  Andrea Cinnamon

Steve Devine  Dave Baron  Bob West     1 homeowner present

Secretaries report read by Debbie with a motion to approve by Dave and seconded by Bob and all others agreed

Treasurers report read by Debbie with a motion to approve by Dave and seconded by Steve and all others agreed

Old Business:  the bulbs can not be switched to a cheaper one because of the type of ballast  They should last a few years  If they do not last that long the ballast could be going bad or they are not screwed in tight enough     Debbie has met with the landscapers and is waiting for the estimates  The retention pond is fairly dry  Dave will talk to Ronnie O’Connor since Rod Middleton has not returned Dave or Debbies calls  Motion by Dave and seconded by Bob to pay Steve $269.09 for supplies and time for working on the retention pond   Mr Bossert states he will be working to be sure our roads are returned to their condition before construction   He will also talk to Bob Simpson from R&R about brooming the streets  Debbie will also get an estimate from Reese O’Connor for November

New Business:  bylaws are not recorded but Mr Bossert states they do not have to be recorded  Email returns vs letter returns for voting were about the same  (poor!!)  Diana emails Debbie information to forward to the homeowners  Since there are 16 people without emails Debbie will have Diana send letters to them  We will all try to get some people to be on the covenants committee and would like for the vote to amend go out with dues and/or annual meeting information  Andrea as vice president will run the meetings  Leroy will be gone for the next 6 months  He offered to stay on the board if needed for next year though   Dave made a motion to pay Datwieler Ins $1010 for the liability ins for the board and Andrea seconded and all others agreed but Leroy withheld
